The above mentioned services not included in the rental, for other services please refer to separate offers and pricelists.
Luksuslomat applies the following terms and conditions to the ordering and booking of cottage holiday services as well as to the cancellation of booked services. These conditions become binding to both parties once the client has made the booking.
1. BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
The booking is binding as from the time of booking whether made in writing or over the phone. A 15€ service fee will be added to the rent. The client is to abide by the payment terms drawn by Luksuslomat (Luxury Holidays). When collecting the keys, the client should provide some identification and receipt of the due payment to Luksuslomat.
2. CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must always be made to Luksuslomat. The cancellation fee minimum is 80€. If the cancellation has been made 14 days prior to booking, the client will be refunded the paid sum minus the 80€ cancellation and service fee. If the cancellation is made less than 14 days before the beginning of the rental period no refund shall be made unless the cottage is rented to another client through the same rental period. In cases of cancellations under 14 days prior to booking the rent will be charged in full unless another client is found for the aforesaid rental period. If the client moves to another cottage of Luksuslomat, a fee of 40€ will be charged for the moving. The charge for the changes in rental period will be 40 euros, as well. Otherwise the terms and conditions as refers to the cancellations stated earlier will be applicable.
3. RIGHT OF LUKSUSLOMAT TO CANCEL THE BOOKING
Luksuslomat may cancel a booking in the event of force majeure or if - for one reason or the other - the owners of Luksuslomat have a need to cancel the booking. Cancellations made on behalf of the owners shall be notified to the client immediately and the client refunded with the sum paid by the client to Luksuslomat. Luksuslomat is entitled to cancel the booking, if the client misses to abide by the payment terms.
4. HANDOVER OF KEYS AND CLEANING
The handover of the keys takes place 24 hours at the fuel station St1 Patalahti
(on the road between Jamsa and Jyväskylä). The villa will be available
starting from the arrival date at 5.00 p.m. till the departure date at 2.00
p.m. The client is responsible for cleaning the villa while staying there.
The clients are expected to empty the rubbish bins, wash the dishes and empty
the dishwasher and to hoover the floors. Overall cleaning (stains, dirt), replacing
the furniture, making the beds and airing the bedding are also expected. The
client(s) should leave the used linen/towels in the laundry basket and all
other rented equipment on the kitchen table. Luksuslomat takes care of the
final cleaning, which is obligatory (75€ /85€).
Upon check-out the villa must be left
in normal, with standard wear and contents, furniture
and the villa itself as it was on arrival - clean and proper - including removal
of any secretion (such as vomit etc.). If the cleanliness of villa and premises
doesn't meet with normal standards (i.e. the stated requirements above) hence
Luksuslomat will be responsible to take charge of cleaning the villa and the
surroundings before the arrival of the next client and the charge for such
extra hours will be 60€/hour.
The rental for linen is 12€/set (or 20€/set with beds fully made) . The
charge for emergency door opening is 30€ in the week between 08.00-20.00, at
other times 60€. If the client loses the
key, locks will have to be changed and the actual price is charged from client.
On departure the key will be returned to the station St1 Patalahti
unless agreed otherwise.
5. COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGE
The client is responsible of the villa and its contents during the stay. The client will be liable for any damage caused to the villa or its contents and required to recompense Luksuslomat for any such damage.
6. NUMBER OF PERSONS
The villa should only be used by the number of occupants per villa as stated in brochure. A supplementary charge for other occupants is 20€/person (over 6 yrs). Joutsenkartano 1 (Lansihuipuntie 18A), 2 (Lansihuipuntie 18B), 3 (Lansihuipuntie 20A) and 4 (Lansihuipuntie 20B) sleep six (6) persons and Joutsenkartano 5 (Aurinkokuja 2), 6 (Aurinkokuja 4) and 7 (Yrjolankuja 2) sleep eight (8) persons. Pitching tents or parking mobile homes or caravans at the premises is forbidden unless agreed otherwise with Luksuslomat.
7. COMPLAINTS
Any objections or claims regarding the booking or condition of the holiday accomodation
must immediately be notified to Luksuslomat. The reclamation form is available
at the villa and can be filled and left there or sent to the address Luksuslomat,
Kokkokallionkatu 5 D 73, 15170 Lahti, tel.+358-40-487 000 9.
8. SMOKING AND PETS
Smoking is forbidden in the villas. If any unauthorized smoking will be detected, the client will be charged a fee of 150€ for ventilation.
No pets are allowed on the premises. If pets have been brought to the villas without permission, a supplementary fee of 60€/pet/night will be charged from the client. Joutsenkartano 2 is an exception from the rule and pets are allowed to be brought along.
Luksuslomat cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or similar problems caused to clients by unauthorized smoking or animal dander.
